How We Do It.

We built a nonprofit model that’s transparent, sustainable, and puts every dollar back into expanding access for young athletes. Here’s exactly how it works.

🎯

Contract Coaches, Fairly Paid

Our coaches are independent contractors — elite athletes who set their own rates based on their level and experience. When you book a session, the coach receives their agreed rate directly. No middleman taking a cut of their pay.

  • Coaches are compensated per session at agreed contract rates
  • Pay reflects tier level — D1 athletes earn more than state champions
  • Rates are transparent and approved by disinterested board members
  • No executive salaries — zero
📈

Where the Margin Goes

The difference between what you pay and what the coach earns is our operating margin. Every dollar of that margin goes back into youth athletic access — not into anyone’s pocket.

  • Margins are intentionally thin and publicly accountable
  • No profits distributed to directors, officers, or founders
  • All surplus reinvested into scholarship and grant programs
  • Annual financials available to the public as a 501(c)(3)
🏆

How We Distribute Access

Our profits fund a broad range of programs designed to remove the financial barriers that keep talented young athletes on the sidelines. We think access means more than just one program — it means reaching kids wherever they are.

  • Scholarships for individual athletes who can’t afford private coaching or training sessions
  • Support for Staples High School athletic programs — helping players who can’t cover team fees, equipment, or program costs
  • Grants to club teams across Connecticut — club sports carry high costs that price out talented players, and we want to change that
  • Funding for local clinics and camps — group access events that bring high-level coaching to more kids at once
  • Partnerships with youth organizations and community programs that share our mission of expanding athletic access
🔒 No executive makes money from this foundation. Margins exist only to fund the mission.

Investment by Tier.

Our pricing reflects the level of coaching experience. Every tier delivers championship-quality training — choose the athlete level that fits your goals. Scholarship opportunities are always available.

Cost Is Never a Barrier Here.

If the price of training stands between your athlete and the field, reach out. Scholarship opportunities are available for coaching sessions, clinics, camps, and club program support — because potential shouldn’t be limited by a price tag.

Our Mission

To expand access to high-quality athletic training and mentorship for underprivileged youth — empowering young athletes to grow in skill, confidence, leadership, and character.

Connecticut 501(c)(3) Nonprofit · Est. 2026

No executive compensation. All surplus profits are distributed to scholarships, youth programs, club teams, clinics, and camps — wherever access is needed most.

Built by Athletes. Driven by Purpose.

Minuteman Youth Development Foundation was created with a simple belief: championship-level training shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for the few. We were built by athletes who know what it takes to compete — and who believe every motivated young person deserves that same shot.

Our coaches range from state championship varsity athletes to Division I collegiate competitors. They bring elite knowledge to every session and invest in the athletes they work with — in skill, character, and life beyond the game.

We train soccer, lacrosse, football, and other sports athletes across all skill levels — from first-time players to college hopefuls. Every athlete is met where they are and pushed to go further.
